Obama continues to command popular support

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Fri 4th Apr 2008

In February, Obama's campaign raised $40M from 440,000 donors, half of them new, with an average donation of $96.

As the headline might say, 'more and more people are saying Barack Obama deserves to win.'

I'm a Clinton fan - more so after reading Hillary's autobiography.

Clinton, I thought, had a key thing going for her - all the stuff that came out during the eight years that Bill was prezzer is in the public domain. With a Democratic congress, its an opportunity to make a difference.

The autobiography shows how distracting defending themselves was. It'll be forever remembered as the Lewinsky scandal, but that was only thing they could get to stick, and then only a little bit. The republican witch hunt left no stone unturned.

But I went to the trouble of going to Obama's website and reading the donation rules - I don't have a US passport :o/ - I'd rather see Obama in the West Wing.

Then it'll be 'White House' in name only.
